Allyson MacIntosh, C.L.S.

Ms. Allyson MacIntosh, C.L.S. has lived in the Washington DC Metro area for eighteen years, while continuing her education at UMUC. Ms. MacIntosh received her certification from Candela Corporation as well as the prestigious Rocky Mountain Laser College, in Denver, Colorado, placing in the top 10% of her class. Ms. MacIntosh was trained under world-renowned Lorenzo Kunze, ME- Principal and CEO, following a stringent curriculum in the following areas:

• Laser physics, safety and contraindications
• Patient selection, tissue interaction and patient observation
• Hair and skin analysis, biology of hair, and growth cycles
• Laser parameters, wavelength, chromophores and pulse duration
• Hair removal techniques, policy/procedures and MD involvement
• Pre/Post patient care, topical applications and hands-on practice
• Ethical considerations
• Internship and in-depth hands-on practicum

As her lecturer and mentor, Mr. Kunze had these words to say about her; she showed great promise of success, and a dedication to excellence.

For those that know or are currently patients of Ms. MacIntosh, know her to be genuinely passionate about her work; however, her strengths lie in her strong interpersonal skills, which is evident with each patient that visits her practice; along with her professional demeanour. It is her genuine care and concern for the very patients’ well being, that has gained her their respect and loyalty. Amongst many of her patients, are Doctors and/or their spouses, who trust her skills implicitly, as well as commend her professionalism. Ms. MacIntosh has over five years experience in the Art of Laser Hair Removal; Laser Skin Rejuvenation; Removal of Spider Veins as well as Pigmented lesions and continues to pursue her education and often attends workshops, so as to keep current with today’s technology. She has in turn been a mentor and tutor to her newest technician; Ms. Julie Arvin.

Ms. MacIntosh is a native of Surrey, England, where she was privately schooled at Notre Dame Convent for young ladies. Her formal education was at the University of Kingston, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, where by she pursued a degree in Combined Science and Art, and ranked top in her class with honours amongst her piers.

She later went on to spend five extremely happy years in what was then West Berlin, Germany; becoming very fluent in all aspects of German. Her cultural passion both in people and language have taken her to Europe, Middle East and as far off as Australia; still prevail today. Because of her love of travel as well as the cultural scene, landed her in New York, where she continued her education at SUNY Binghamton, New York; studying Geography and German as well as raising a family. She has two beautiful children, a son and daughter, one of whom is following the MacIntosh family tradition, whereby she will start her clinical Nursing program in New York this semester.

As Laser Elite Centre, LLC grows, Ms. MacIntosh will continue and strive for excellence in patient safety and care. Ms. Julie Arvin

Ms. Julie Arvin has been a resident of Burke, Virginia for the last sixteen years. She was born and educated in Birmingham, England, attending the Polytechnic College in Business. Ms. Arvin perhaps like all British, has a love affair with travel, this took her to the Middle East; where she lived for one year. She has lived in the United States of America, since 1983.

Laser Elite Centre is happy to welcome aboard Ms. Arvin as a member of its staff, she brings with her many years of experience in the medical field. Patients upon meeting Ms. Arvin are immediately put at ease by her caring disposition, as well as her enthusiasm for her profession. She received her laser hair removal certification through the Candela Corporation, and was later tutored under Ms. Allyson MacIntosh, C.L.S. Prior to joining Laser Elite Centre; she worked in Washington DC as manger to a very busy Dental practice. After which she joined and worked for eleven years in the Burke Family Practice, in Burke Virginia as Supervisor and Insurance Specialist.

Her primary goal is to ensure the comfort and safety of every patient that she treats. Ms. Arvin has demonstrated a high level of competency in her skill set, which in turn has afforded Ms. MacIntosh to concentrate on elements of the practice, such as improving continued patient care and marketing for the continued success of the practice.

It is Laser Elite Centre’s goal to ensure that each staff member continues to strive for excellence in patient care and safety.

Ms. Nasrin Kolyani

Ms. Kolyani is a board certified Aesthetician who received her certification from the state of Georgia at the International Skin Care school in 1996, where she learned the Art of Skin Care and Cosmetic Permanent Make-up. Prior to coming to the United States of America, Ms. Kolyani also worked for a family owned spa in Tehran, Iran in Aesthetics. In addition to, she is certified in the Art of MicroDerm Abrasion; from the state of Virginia. She brings with her twelve (12) years of valuable experience in the art of Skin Care to Laser Elite Centre.
